The hiring manager, a BME PH.D. alumnus at BD, shares this opportunity. I’m recruiting for a graduate co-op position. You’ll be working on cross-functional teams that are creating novel products to transform soft tissue management by regenerating native anatomy with implants that restore normal function, sensation, and appearance. You will work alongside experienced scientists and engineers to advance these solutions, perform studies in partnership with world-leading research institutes, and collaborate with cross-functional teammates in Marketing, Regulatory Affairs, and Medical Affairs to develop business cases for new product ideas. This will be a great opportunity to learn how to do translational research in the MedTech industry. It will prepare you for an industry job coming out of grad school. I’m targeting a PhD or thesis-MS student with experience in tissue regeneration and/or biomaterials (particularly implantable scaffolds), and a demonstration of leadership skills outside of the lab. Background in translational aspects of MedTech (e.g., business and regulatory strategy) is a big plus but not a requirement. I need you fully dedicated to the job from ~May through December. Please apply by the end of day April 11, 2025.
